FAQs.

Making things crystal clear since last week 2019.

  • Q: Do you only work with projects selected at Labs?

    Not at all!

I work with filmmakers in a bunch of different ways - whether this is through third-party labs, my own Audience Design Lab, or directly with the Production company on their slate.

Labs just tend to be better promoted (PR machine and all that) – but I promise I’m working on lots of delicious NDA projects, too!

  • Q: Can a Producer contact you directly?

Absolutely! I’d love to hear from you. Just click on the mail icon and drop me a line.

  • Q: How do I know if my project is ready for consultation?

Is your project in a good place? Is the story fairly locked? Are you working towards some serious milestones like funding applications, marketplace launch, or festival submissions?

If you’ve answered yes to any of these, let’s chat.

  • Q: What actually happens during a workshop?

Lots and lots and lots of discussions – on the team, on the project, on story. I’ve got a whole toolbox of prompts, questions and exercises designed to help us dig deeper into the heart of what you’re making and figure out who’s going to love it (or hate it).

  • Q: How much does a consultancy cost?

(here comes the most annoying answer)

The consultancy fee depends on what you and your project’s needs are. Everything is very bespoke, so it’s worth having a chat first so we can make sure you’re happy with budget and expectations.

  • Q: Do you speak any other languages?

I do! However, I prefer working in English and not making a complete fool of myself. Merci beaucoup!
